Objective
Ensure the hallway in the aged care facility is clean, sanitized, and safe for residents, staff, and visitors, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and appearance.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all horizontal surfaces using a microfibre cloth to efficiently trap dust.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring the thorough removal of dust and allergens.
Prepare a disinfectant solution according to the manufacturer's instructions, then mop all hard floor surfaces, ensuring no excess water is left behind.
Utilise a damp microfiber cloth to clean walls and doors, concentrating on the removal of visible marks.
Apply a disinfectant spray to high-touch areas, then wipe thoroughly using a clean cloth.
Remove the waste bin liner, sanitise the interior and exterior of the bin, and replace it with a new liner.
