Objective
To ensure the Equipment Store in the Aged Care Facility is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition, minimizing the risk of contamination and ensuring a safe environment for staff and residents.
Cleaning Methods
Start by clearing all removable items from the floor to guarantee a thorough clean.
Utilise a microfibre cloth to dust all surfaces effectively, ensuring the efficient capture of dust particles.
Sanitise high-contact areas utilising a disinfectant spray and a clean cloth.
Vacuum the entire floor area, ensuring you pay special attention to corners and the space beneath shelving.
Mop the floor utilising a disinfectant solution, ensuring uniform coverage, and allow it to air dry.
Thoroughly wipe down all equipment using the appropriate cleaning agent, adhering strictly to the manufacturer's guidelines.
Return all items to their original positions and ensure the area is tidy.
