Objective
Ensure the storage room in the aged care facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
Cleaning Methods
Start by clearing all items from shelves and surfaces.
Utilise a microfibre cloth to dust all surfaces, effectively capturing dust particles.
Sanitise high-touch areas using an approved disinfectant spray and cloth.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring to reach corners and beneath furniture.

Mop the hard floor utilising a mop and bucket filled with a disinfectant solution, ensuring uniform coverage.
Ensure all storage containers and equipment are wiped down with a damp cloth, leaving no residue behind.
