Objective
Ensure the linen room in the aged care facility is maintained in a clean, hygienic, and organized manner to prevent contamination and ensure the safety and comfort of residents and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Start by clearing all items from the surface to guarantee a comprehensive clean.
Apply a disinfectant solution to high-contact areas, then let it stand for the suggested contact duration before wiping it clean.
Commence by utilising a microfibre cloth to dust all surfaces, initiating from the top and progressing downwards.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to vacuum the floor, ensuring the capture of fine particles.
Mop the floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Disinfect storage containers by wiping them down with a disinfectant wipe, then allow them to air dry.
Return all items to their original places, ensuring they are organised and accessible.

ExcellentAll surfaces visibly clean, no dust, stains, or debris. Pleasant appearance with no odors. All cleaning tasks completed to highest standard.
