Objective
Ensure a hygienic and safe environment in the staff kitchen of an aged care facility through comprehensive cleaning practices.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to trap dust particles.
Apply a food-safe sanitiser to all food preparation areas, leaving it for the recommended contact time prior to wiping clean.
Clean the sink and tap using a non-abrasive cleaner, then follow up with a sanitiser.
Thoroughly wipe down the exterior of all kitchen appliances using a damp cloth and mild detergent, followed by sanitisation.
