Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the family room of the aged care facility, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Commence by dusting all surfaces from top to bottom to avoid recontamination.

Thoroughly vacuum the carpet and rug, paying particular attention to the edges and corners.

Mop hard floors utilising a two-bucket system to guarantee efficient cleaning and avoid cross-contamination.

Apply a disinfectant wipe or spray to high-touch areas, ensuring an adequate contact time for effective sanitisation.

Spot-clean upholstery and sanitise the seating area using an appropriate fabric-safe disinfectant.

Clean the table and countertop using a microfibre cloth and disinfectant solution.

Empty the waste bin, sanitise the interior, and replace the liner.

Clean windows and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth.

Review and document all cleaning activities within the facility in the designated cleaning log.

Fail	Visible dirt, stains, or debris present. Unacceptable odors or untidy appearance. Cleaning tasks incomplete or inadequate. Requires immediate re-cleaning.
