Objective
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable reading environment for residents in the aged care facility.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to efficiently trap dust particles.
Use a vacuum cleaner fitted with a HEPA filter to thoroughly clean carpeted areas, ensuring complete elimination of dust and allergens.
Mop the hard floor using a damp mop and a neutral pH cleaner to avoid causing damage to the flooring material.
Apply a disinfectant spray to high-touch areas, ensuring ample contact time for efficient sanitisation.
Clean windows and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth to achieve a streak-free finish.
Ensure the waste bin is emptied, properly disposing of waste, and replace the liner to maintain hygiene.
