Objective
To ensure the IT Server Room in the transportation hub is maintained at the highest level of cleanliness, minimising dust and contaminants to protect sensitive equipment and ensure operational efficiency.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin by donning the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), comprising gloves and a dust mask.
Empty the rubbish bin and replace the liner, ensuring the bin is clean and free of odour.
Dust all surfaces using an anti-static cloth, beginning from the highest point and working downwards.
Vacuum the floor utilising a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner, ensuring all corners and areas beneath equipment are thoroughly reached.
Wipe down all accessible surfaces using an anti-static cloth.
