Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic waste management area within the transportation hub, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Gather all rubbish from the bin, using a colour-coded system to avoid cross-contamination.
Convey waste to the specified disposal area utilising a trolley.
Sanitise the bin and its surrounding area using a suitable cleaning agent.
Clean the floor and walls in the waste storage area using a mop and disinfectant.
Inspect and clean waste disposal equipment and trolleys, ensuring they are free from debris and contamination.
Ensure waste is segregated and disposed of in accordance with local council and environmental regulations.
Promptly address any spills or leaks by utilising absorbent materials and disinfectants to cleanse the impacted area.

FailBins are not emptied; significant waste or odours present; floors and walls are dirty; waste equipment is dirty or non-functional; waste is not segregated.
