Objective
Ensure the utility areas of the transportation hub are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, in compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all the required supplies and equipment, making sure to use colour-coded cleaning systems to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin by dusting all horizontal surfaces, working from high to low, to capture any falling dust.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring particular attention is paid to edges and corners.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces using a disinfectant solution, ensuring adherence to the contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.

FailVisible dust or marks on more than 10% of surfaces. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are dirty or wet. Strong odours present. Consumables are depleted.
