Objective
Ensure the conveyor system at the transportation hub is maintained to the highest cleanliness standards, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with Australian cleaning and workplace health and safety standards.
Cleaning Methods
Commence by dusting all reachable surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth, which aids in trapping dust and inhibiting the dispersion of airborne particles.
Sanitise handrails and touchpoints using a disinfectant solution, ensuring adherence to the contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Utilise a vacuum equipped with a HEPA filter to eliminate debris from the conveyor belt and adjacent areas, concentrating specifically on crevices and joints.
Wipe down the external surface using a pH-neutral cleaning agent to avoid damaging the material.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and sanitise the bin's surface to prevent odour.
Inspect the conveyor system for any visible stains or spills and treat these with an appropriate stain remover.
Ensure all cleaning activities are conducted with appropriate PPE and signage to uphold safety standards.
