Objective
To ensure the accessible toilets in the transportation hub are cleaned and sanitised to the highest Australian standards, ensuring safety, hygiene, and accessibility for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared and equipped with colour-coded cleaning cloths and the appropriate cleaning agents.
Ensure you wear personal protective equipment in accordance with Australian Workplace Health and Safety guidelines.
Begin by emptying the rubbish bin and sanitary unit, replacing the liner as required.
Apply disinfectant to all toilet surfaces, allowing for contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Clean mirrors and fixtures using glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth.
Refill consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
Mop the floor utilising a damp mop and disinfectant solution, ensuring no slip hazards remain.
Wipe down walls, doors, and partitions using a damp cloth and suitable cleaning agent.
Inspect all accessibility features for cleanliness and functionality.
