Objective
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the valet area of a retail facility, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for customers and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Commence by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, initiating from the highest point and progressing downwards.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area and mat, ensuring all debris is removed.
Mop the hard floor utilising a colour-coded mop and bucket system, ensuring the appropriate cleaning solution is used for the specific floor type.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray and cloth, ensuring special attention is given to frequently used surfaces.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and wipe both the interior and exterior of the bin using a sanitising solution.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth to guarantee a streak-free finish.
Spot-clean walls and doors using a mild detergent solution to eliminate any visible marks or stains.
Inspect and replenish the cleaning supplies on the trolley, ensuring all items are neatly organised and prepared for use.
