Objective
To ensure the training room in the retail facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, in compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared and equipped with colour-coded cleaning cloths and the appropriate cleaning agents.
Dust all surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth to trap dust and allergens.
Mop the hard floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpet, ensuring special attention is paid to corners and edges.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines.
Clean glass surfaces using a streak-free glass cleaner.
Sanitise high-contact areas utilising a disinfectant that meets Australian standards.
Inspect and replenish the hand sanitiser dispenser as required.

PassNoticeable dust on some surfaces; floors have visible stains; high-touch areas are partially sanitised; rubbish bins are not emptied; glass surfaces have visible streaks.
FailSignificant dust accumulation; floors are dirty with multiple stains; high-touch areas are not sanitised; rubbish bins are overflowing; glass surfaces are heavily streaked.
