Objective
To ensure the telecommunications room in the retail facility is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for equipment operation.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination, guaranteeing the use of distinct cloths and mops for various areas.
Prepare the area by eliminating any obstructions and ensure all equipment is powered off, if required.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Thoroughly vacuum the floor, ensuring special attention is given to corners and the area beneath equipment racks.
Sanitise high-contact areas using a suitable disinfectant.
Mop the floor utilising a damp mop and a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and then sanitise the bin.
Wipe down all accessible surfaces using a microfibre cloth, with a focus on removing fingerprints and smudges.
Inspect and clean air vents and filters as necessary to maintain air quality.
