Objective
Ensure the IT Server Room is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, minimising dust and contaminants to protect sensitive equipment.
Cleaning Methods
Commence by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, beginning from the highest point and working downwards.
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination, assigning specific colours to distinct areas.
Vacuum the entire floor area using a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner, ensuring special attention is given to corners and the areas beneath equipment.
Sanitise all high-contact surfaces using a disinfectant spray, then wipe them down with a clean cloth.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with facility protocol.
Inspect the air vent for any accumulation of dust and clean as required, utilising a vacuum or damp cloth.
