Objective
To ensure the Cleaning Store within the retail facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for staff and customers.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, working from the top down to avoid re-soiling.
Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas, with particular focus on corners and edges.
Mop the hard floor utilising a colour-coded mop and bucket system, ensuring the appropriate cleaning solution is used for the specific floor type.
Empty the rubbish bin, clean it with a disinfectant wipe, and replace the liner.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray, ensuring adequate contact time for effective germ elimination.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth, ensuring no streaks are left behind.
Inspect and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring all products are stored in accordance with safety standards.
