Objective
Ensure the recycling area in the retail facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, promoting a safe and pleasant environment for staff and customers.
Cleaning Methods
Start by donning the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Australian Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
Ensure the removal of all rubbish and recyclables, maintaining proper segregation and disposal.
Sanitise all surfaces utilising a disinfectant approved for use in a retail environment.
Efficiently capture dust particles by dusting and wiping down surfaces using a microfibre cloth.
Mop the floor utilising a mop and bucket filled with a neutral pH cleaning solution, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Replace the bin liner with a colour-coded liner to prevent cross-contamination.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure the area is clean, odour-free, and presentable.
