Objective
Ensure the garbage room in the retail facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, minimising odours and ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure that you don appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), inclusive of gloves and a mask.
Utilise a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
Empty all rubbish from the bin and replace the liner.
Sweep the floor to eliminate loose debris.
Prepare a mop bucket with a sanitising solution, then mop the floor thoroughly.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
Utilise a damp cloth imbued with disinfectant to meticulously clean walls and doors.
Inspect the area for any signs of pests and report as necessary.
