Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing arcade space within a retail facility, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential equipment and supplies, ensuring the appropriate use of colour-coded cloths and mops.
Begin by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working your way downwards.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Sanitise high-contact areas using a disinfectant spray, then wipe them down with a clean cloth.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin's exterior using a sanitising wipe.
Mop the hard floor with a damp mop and an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth, ensuring no streaks are left behind.
Spot-clean walls and doors using a mild detergent solution to eliminate any noticeable marks.
