Objective
Ensure the goods lift in the retail facility is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring safety, hygiene, and a pleasant environment for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Utilise a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
Prepare the area by placing a safety sign and confirming that the lift is not in operation throughout the cleaning process.
Dust all surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth.
Sanitise high-contact areas using an approved disinfectant.
Utilise a neutral pH cleaner appropriate for the flooring type to mop the floor.
Utilise a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner to vacuum the floor.
Empty the rubbish bin and replace the liner.
Inspect and clean the lift track and threshold using a damp cloth.
Remove the safety sign once the area is dry and ready for use.

FailSignificant dust or marks on surfaces. High-touch areas are unsanitised. Floor is dirty with significant debris. Strong odours present. Rubbish bins are overflowing or dirty.
