Objective
Ensure the truck dock area in the retail facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris, ensuring it's properly disposed of in the designated rubbish bin.
Utilise a broom to sweep the entire dock area, ensuring all corners and edges are thoroughly cleaned.
Prepare a mop bucket using an appropriate cleaning solution, adhering to the manufacturer's instructions.
Systematically mop the floor, commencing from the furthest point and progressing towards the exit.
Utilise a sanitising spray and cloth to thoroughly clean all high-contact surfaces.
Empty and clean the rubbish bin, replacing the liner as needed.
Dust all surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth, ensuring particular attention is paid to ledges and equipment.
Inspect the area for any spills or stains and promptly clean them using the appropriate method.

GoodMinor dust or debris present in less than 5% of the area. Floors are mostly clean with no major stains. High-touch surfaces are mostly sanitised with minimal smudges. Rubbish bins are empty with minimal odour.
PassNoticeable dust or debris in less than 10% of the area. Floors have minor stains. High-touch surfaces are partially sanitised with some smudges. Rubbish bins are not overflowing but may have some odour.
FailVisible dust or debris in more than 10% of the area. Floors are stained or wet. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised and have visible smudges. Rubbish bins are overflowing or have strong odour.
