Objective
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the directory area of a retail facility, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for customers and staff.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the area by placing safety signage appropriately and ensuring the cleaning trolley is fully stocked with the necessary supplies.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Vacuum the carpeted area utilising a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to minimise dust and allergens.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and a neutral pH floor cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Sanitise all touchpoints using a disinfectant solution, ensuring particular attention is given to high-contact areas.
