Objective
Ensure the side entrance of the retail facility is clean, sanitised, and visually appealing to customers, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with the required supplies, making sure to use colour-coded cloths and mops.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Thoroughly sweep the floor to remove loose dirt and debris.
Sanitise high-touch areas using an approved disinfectant, ensuring to allow for appropriate contact time.
Empty the rubbish bin, clean it with a disinfectant, and replace the liner.
Mop the floor utilising a neutral detergent, ensuring the mop is rinsed frequently.
Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, using a squeegee to achieve a streak-free finish.
Inspect the entrance mat, vacuum or shake out as necessary, and reposition them correctly.
