Objective
Ensure the main entrance of the retail facility is clean, welcoming, and safe for all visitors, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to capture dust particles.
Vacuum the entrance mat and carpeted areas using a vacuum cleaner equipped with a HEPA filter to guarantee containment of dust and allergens.
Mop the hard floor using a neutral pH cleaner and a colour-coded mop to prevent cross-contamination.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and squeegee to achieve a streak-free finish.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and sanitise the interior of the bin using a disinfectant spray.
Utilise a disinfectant wipe to sanitise high-touch areas, ensuring all surfaces are visibly damp for the contact duration specified by the disinfectant manufacturer.
Conduct a final walkthrough to ensure all areas are clean and free of debris.
