Objective
Ensure the staff toilets in the retail facility are cleaned to the highest Australian standards, maintaining hygiene and safety for all staff members.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with colour-coded cleaning cloths and solutions.
Dust surfaces utilising a damp microfibre cloth.
apply toilet cleaner to bowl and urinal scrub and flush
Spray the sink, tap, and mirror with a sanitising solution, then wipe clean.
empty rubbish bin replace liner and sanitise bin interior
mop floor with a disinfectant solution ensuring no pooling of water
Ensure dispensers are functioning correctly and restock supplies as necessary.
inspect for graffiti or mark using appropriate cleaning solution for removal
Inspect the drain for any blockages and, if required, apply an odour neutraliser.

PassVisible dust on surfaces. Toilets and urinals are clean but with noticeable odour. Floors are clean but wet. Supplies are low. Some graffiti or marks present.
FailHeavy dust and dirt on surfaces. Toilets and urinals are dirty with strong odour. Floors are dirty or wet. Supplies are depleted. Significant graffiti or marks present.
