Objective
To ensure the service desk area in retail facilities is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
Cleaning Methods
Start by arranging the cleaning trolley with all the required supplies, making sure to use colour-coded cloths for distinct areas to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to minimise dust and allergens by vacuuming the carpet.
Mop the hard floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring that no residue is left behind.
Sanitise and wipe high-touch surfaces using an appropriate cloth and disinfectant spray.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and sanitise the exterior of the bin.
Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth, ensuring no streaks remain.
