Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and organised receiving area in a retail facility, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin by dusting from top to bottom to ensure all surfaces are free from dust.
Thoroughly sweep the floor to remove loose dirt and debris.
Sanitise all high-touch areas using a suitable disinfectant.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin using a disinfectant.
Mop the floor with an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring it is left dry to prevent slips.
Inspect the area to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.
