Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing shop floor environment in a retail facility, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential equipment and supplies, utilising a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
Begin by dusting all horizontal surfaces, starting from the highest point and working downwards, using a microfibre cloth.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray and cloth, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly wiped.
Vacuum the carpeted areas and mats, ensuring all corners and edges are thoroughly cleaned.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean both the interior and exterior of the bin.
Mop the hard floor surface using a damp mop and the appropriate cleaning solution, adhering to the manufacturer's instructions.
conduct a final inspection to ensure all task are completed to the required standard
Spot clean glass surfaces and mirrors using a glass cleaner and lint-free cloth.
