Objective
To ensure the tank farm is maintained in a clean and safe condition, minimising risks associated with contamination and ensuring compliance with Australian health and safety standards.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust particles.
Gather and dispose of waste in the designated rubbish bin.
Apply an appropriate sanitiser to high-touch areas, ensuring sufficient contact time before wiping.
Mop the floor using a non-slip cleaning solution, ensuring all spills are promptly addressed.
Utilise a brush and suitable cleaning agent to meticulously clean the drain and grate.
If necessary, wipe down the tank surface with a degreaser, followed by a rinse with clean water.
Inspect safety signage and clean using a damp cloth to ensure maintained visibility.
