Objective
Ensure the compressor room is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all the necessary equipment and supplies, making sure to use colour-coded cloths and mops.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Sanitise high-contact areas using a disinfectant spray, then wipe them down with a clean cloth.
Mop the floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Vacuum the floor utilising an industrial vacuum cleaner, ensuring special attention is given to corners and areas beneath equipment.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's protocol.
Inspect the air vent and filter, cleaning them as necessary using a vacuum or damp cloth.
