Objective
Ensure the air handling unit is cleaned to maintain optimal air quality and comply with Australian health and safety standards.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the unit is safely powered down and secured.
Utilise a vacuum equipped with a HEPA filter to eliminate dust from both the filter and the surface.
Thoroughly wipe down all surfaces using a damp microfibre cloth.
apply a sanitising solution to high touch area and allow to air dry
Inspect the unit for any remaining debris and remove as necessary.

ExcellentNo visible dust or debris; all surfaces are sanitised and free of marks; filters are visibly clean; no odours present.
GoodMinor dust present in non-critical areas; surfaces are mostly clean and sanitised; filters are mostly clean; no strong odours present.
PassSome dust and debris present; surfaces are generally clean but may have some marks; filters show some dust accumulation; slight odours may be present.
FailVisible dust and debris; surfaces are dirty or unsanitised; filters are clogged; strong odours present.
