Objective
To ensure the chiller plant is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition, meeting Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Prepare the area by eliminating any obstructions and ensuring safety signage is correctly positioned.
Sanitise high-contact areas using an approved disinfectant.
dust all surface using a microfibre cloth or duster
Empty the rubbish bin and replace the liner.
Utilise an industrial vacuum cleaner to clean the floor.
Mop the floor using a non-slip cleaning solution.
Clean windows and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and squeegee.
Inspect and clean the drain utilising the appropriate tool and cleaning agent.

PassNoticeable dust on surfaces; high-touch areas partially sanitised; floors have visible dirt; some rubbish present; windows have streaks; drains have minor blockages.
FailHeavy dust accumulation; high-touch areas unsanitised; floors dirty and wet; overflowing rubbish; windows dirty; drains blocked and odorous.
