Objective
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the steam plant facility, ensuring compliance with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Ensure the area is prepared by removing any obstructions and confirming the placement of safety signs.
Sanitise high-contact areas using a disinfectant solution.
Dust all surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth or duster.
Mop the floor utilising a trolley equipped with a dual-bucket system, designed to segregate clean water from dirty water.
Empty the rubbish bin and replace the liner.
Clean windows using a squeegee and glass cleaner.
Inspect and clean the air vent and filter utilising a vacuum equipped with a HEPA filter.

FailHeavy dust accumulation; floors are dirty or wet; rubbish bins are overflowing; windows are dirty; air vents are clogged with dust.
