To ensure the Battery Room is maintained in a clean and safe condition, minimising hazards and adhering to Australian cleaning standards.

Equip the cleaning trolley with all essential tools and supplies, making sure to utilise colour-coded cloths for distinct areas.

Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.

Sanitise high-touch surfaces using an approved disinfectant, ensuring to allow for the appropriate contact time.

Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's protocol.

Mop the floor utilising a damp mop and an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.

Vacuum or use a damp cloth to remove dust accumulation from the ventilation grille.

Using a damp cloth, thoroughly wipe down the wall, paying particular attention to areas with visible stains or marks.

Performance Level	Criteria
Excellent	All surfaces are free of dust and stains; floors are spotless and dry; no odours present; high-touch surfaces are sanitised and visibly clean; ventilation grilles are dust-free.
Good	Minor dust on non-critical surfaces; floors are clean with minimal streaks; no strong odours; high-touch surfaces are mostly sanitised; minor dust on ventilation grilles.
Pass	Noticeable dust on some surfaces; floors have visible streaks; faint odours present; high-touch surfaces are partially sanitised; visible dust on ventilation grilles.
Fail	Significant dust and stains on surfaces; floors are dirty or wet; strong odours present; high-touch surfaces are not sanitised; heavy dust on ventilation grilles.
