Objective

Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Ensure the area is prepared for cleaning by confirming all equipment is de-energised and safe.
Begin from the highest surface and work downwards to avoid re-soiling.
Utilise a HEPA-filtered vacuum to eradicate dust from floors and surfaces.
Apply a neutral detergent to mop hard floors, ensuring no excess water is used.
Discard waste in the designated bin and replace the liner.
Sanitise high-contact areas using a disinfectant spray.
Clean the surface using a dampened microfibre cloth, moistened with a suitable cleaning solution.
Inspect the area to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.

FailVisible dust and debris on multiple surfaces; floors are dirty or wet; high-touch areas are not sanitised; rubbish bins are full or dirty; air vents are clogged with dust.
