To ensure the weighbridge area is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.

Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth.

Sanitise high-contact areas utilising an approved disinfectant.

Sweep the entire weighbridge platform and adjacent area thoroughly.

Empty the rubbish bin and replace the liner.

Utilise a neutral detergent and warm water to mop the platform.

Inspect the drainage system and clean as necessary.

Performance Level	Criteria
Excellent	No visible dust or debris; all surfaces are sanitised and free of stains; rubbish bins are empty and clean; drainage systems are clear and functioning.
Good	Minor dust or debris in non-critical areas; surfaces are mostly sanitised; rubbish bins are empty but may have minor residue; drainage systems are mostly clear.
Pass	Visible dust or debris in some areas; surfaces are partially sanitised; rubbish bins are not overflowing but have visible residue; drainage systems have minor blockages.
Fail	Significant dust or debris; surfaces are not sanitised; rubbish bins are overflowing; drainage systems are blocked.
