Objective
Ensure the loading dock area is maintained in a clean, safe, and hygienic condition, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Start by clearing all visible rubbish and debris from the area, making sure it is deposited in the correct rubbish bin.
Utilise a broom to sweep the entire dock floor, ensuring all dust and loose particles are gathered.
prepare a mop bucket with a suitable cleaning solution ensuring it i correctly diluted a per the manufacturer instruction
Thoroughly mop the floor, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin using a disinfectant.
Utilise a sanitising spray and cloth to meticulously clean all surfaces, encompassing both equipment and railings.
Sanitise high-touch areas by wiping them down with a sanitising wipe or cloth.
Inspect the area for any remaining stains or spills and clean them immediately.
