Ensure the Scrap Metal Area is maintained to the highest cleanliness standards, minimising hazards and ensuring compliance with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination.
Carry out an initial inspection to pinpoint areas necessitating immediate attention.
Utilise an industrial vacuum to eliminate dust and small debris from surfaces and floors.
Apply a degreasing agent to the oily surface, then proceed with a comprehensive mopping.
Sanitise surfaces using an approved disinfectant, with a particular focus on high-touch areas.
Dispose of waste in accordance with local regulations, ensuring recycling protocols are adhered to.
