Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and compliant machine workshop environment in accordance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination across various areas.
Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture fine particles.
Vacuum the floor using a HEPA-filtered industrial vacuum to ensure the maintenance of air quality.
Sanitise high-contact areas using a disinfectant approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
Mop the floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring all spills and stains are thoroughly removed.
Empty the rubbish bin and replace the liner, ensuring waste is properly segregated and disposed of correctly.
Clean windows and glass surfaces using a streak-free solution.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly cleaned and correctly stored after use.

PassNoticeable dust on surfaces; floors have visible marks; high-touch areas have some smudges; windows are streaked; rubbish bins are not overflowing; amenities are usable but not spotless.
FailHeavy dust accumulation; floors are dirty and slippery; high-touch areas are unsanitised; windows are dirty; rubbish bins are overflowing; amenities are unhygienic.
