Objective
To ensure the Vehicle Maintenance Bay is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential equipment and supplies. Use colour-coded cloths and mops to avoid cross-contamination.
Begin by dusting all surfaces from top to bottom, utilising a damp cloth for stubborn dust.
Sanitise high-contact areas utilising disinfectant spray and a fresh cloth.
Mop the floor utilising a degreasing solution, with particular focus on heavily soiled areas.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin using a disinfectant.
Clean windows and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth.
Vacuum the carpeted area or mat, ensuring all debris is removed.
Clean walls and partitions using an appropriate cleaning solution.
Inspect and clean the drain, removing any debris and applying a drain cleaner if necessary.
