Objective
Ensure the Heavy Machinery Area is maintained to the highest cleanliness standards, minimising risks to health and safety while promoting operational efficiency.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the area is prepared by removing any loose debris and confirming all machinery is powered down and safe for cleaning.
Implement a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination across various areas.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces using an approved disinfectant, ensuring adherence to the contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Dust all machinery surfaces using a microfibre cloth and an extendable duster for high areas.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin using a disinfectant spray.
Utilise an industrial vacuum cleaner equipped with a HEPA filter to vacuum the floor, ensuring the capture of fine dust particles.
Mop the floor using a degreasing solution, ensuring all spills and stains are thoroughly removed.
Dampen a cloth and apply the suitable cleaning agent to thoroughly wipe down walls and partitions.
Inspect and clean the ventilation grille using a vacuum and a damp cloth, ensuring they are free from dust and debris.
