Objective
Ensure the R&D Lab is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Start by organising the cleaning trolley, ensuring it's fully equipped with all essential supplies. Be sure to utilise colour-coded cloths and mops.
Utilise a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to vacuum the carpeted area, thereby minimising airborne particles.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Sanitise the work surface and high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray, ensuring you allow for the appropriate contact time prior to wiping.

Clean glass surfaces using a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left behind.
Empty the rubbish bin, sanitise its interior, and replace the liner.
Inspect and replenish hand sanitiser and soap dispensers as required.

PassSurfaces have visible dust; glass is streaked; mild odours present; bins are not emptied; floors have visible dirt and residue.
FailSurfaces are dusty and marked; glass is heavily streaked; strong odours present; bins are overflowing; floors are dirty and sticky.
