Objective
Ensure the CNC area is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, minimising risks of contamination and ensuring compliance with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to trap fine particles.
Utilise a sanitising solution to thoroughly clean all high-touch surfaces, ensuring adherence to the contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Utilise an industrial vacuum cleaner, fitted with a HEPA filter, to vacuum the floor and effectively capture fine metal particles.
Mop the floor using an appropriate industrial floor cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Empty the rubbish bin and replace the liner, ensuring waste is disposed of in accordance with facility protocol.
Clean the air vent and filter using a vacuum and a damp cloth, ensuring no dust or debris is left behind.

PassNoticeable dust on surfaces. High-touch surfaces are partially sanitised. Floors have visible debris. Air vents have visible dust. Rubbish bins are not fully emptied.
FailSignificant dust and debris on surfaces. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised. Floors are dirty with metal shavings. Air vents are clogged with dust. Rubbish bins are full and dirty.
