Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and efficient dispatch area in an industrial facility, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the area is prepared by removing any obstructions and confirming the placement of safety signs.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Sanitise high-contact surfaces using a disinfectant spray, then wipe them down with a clean cloth.
Mop the floor utilising a colour-coded mop and bucket system, ensuring the application of a suitable cleaning solution for the specific floor type.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean both the interior and exterior of the bin.
Spot-clean walls and partitions using a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Clean the loading dock using a pressure washer if necessary, ensuring all debris is removed.
Inspect and clean floor drains, ensuring they are free from blockages.
