Objective
To ensure the service yard of the hospitality facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and hygienic condition, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Start by collecting all rubbish and debris, then deposit it in the designated rubbish bin.
Sweep the entire area to remove loose dirt and debris.
prepare a mop bucket with a suitable cleaning solution ensuring it i correctly diluted a per the manufacturer instruction
Mop all hard surfaces, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Utilise a sanitising solution to thoroughly clean high-touch areas, ensuring that the contact time is observed as per the product guidelines.
Empty, clean, and sanitise the rubbish bin, replacing the liner as necessary.
Inspect and clear the drain, removing any obstructions.
Clean any outdoor furniture or equipment using an appropriate cleaning agent.
Address any stain or spill immediately, utilising the appropriate cleaning method.

ExcellentAll surfaces are spotless, with no visible dirt, debris, or stains. High-touch areas are sanitised and free of fingerprints. Rubbish bins are clean and odour-free. Drains are clear and functioning properly.
GoodMinor dirt or debris may be present in low-traffic areas. High-touch areas are mostly clean with minimal fingerprints. Rubbish bins are mostly clean with slight odour. Drains are mostly clear.
PassNoticeable dirt or debris in some areas. High-touch areas have visible fingerprints. Rubbish bins have noticeable odour. Drains are partially blocked but functional.
FailSignificant dirt, debris, or stains present. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Rubbish bins are dirty and have strong odour. Drains are blocked and not functioning.
