Objective
Ensure the delivery area in hospitality facilities is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris, ensuring it's properly disposed of in the designated rubbish bin.
Dust all surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth for effective dust capture.
Utilise a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination. Use red for sanitary fittings, yellow for the kitchen area, blue for general areas, and green for food preparation areas.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces using an appropriate disinfectant, ensuring the contact time aligns with the manufacturer's instructions.
Clean and sanitise the sink and tap, ensuring no water spots or stains remain.
Thoroughly sweep the floor before mopping with a neutral detergent, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.
Replace the bin liner in the rubbish bin and ensure the bin is clean and free of odour.

PassSurfaces show some dust and dirt, particularly in corners. Mild odours may be present. High-touch surfaces are partially sanitised, and floors have some visible residue.
FailSurfaces are visibly dirty with dust, dirt, and stains. Strong odours are present. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised, and floors are dirty with significant residue.
