Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic loading dock area in hospitality facilities, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris, ensuring it's properly disposed of in the designated rubbish bin.
Sweep the entire floor area to eliminate dust and loose dirt.
Prepare a mop bucket with an appropriate cleaning solution. Mop the floor thoroughly, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Empty the rubbish bin, clean it with a disinfectant, and replace the liner.
Utilise a sanitising spray and cloth to thoroughly clean all high-touch surfaces.
Dust and wipe down all horizontal surfaces using a damp cloth.
Inspect and clean drains, ensuring they are free from blockages and odour.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is returned to the storage area, clean and ready for the next use.

FailSignificant dirt or debris on surfaces. Floors are dirty or sticky. Strong odours present. High-touch surfaces are not sanitised. Rubbish bins are dirty with visible residue and odours.
