Objective
To ensure the waste room in hospitality facilities is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, minimising odours and preventing pest infestations.
Cleaning Methods
Start by clearing all rubbish from the bin and its adjacent area, ensuring proper waste segregation.
Sanitise the bin, focusing on the lid and handle, using the appropriate cleaning agent.
Sweep the entire floor area to remove loose debris.
Prepare a mop using an appropriate cleaning solution, then proceed to mop the floor comprehensively.
Disinfect walls and doors, focusing particularly on high-touch areas, by wiping them down with a disinfectant solution.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.
