Objective
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the hospitality maintenance workshop, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to capture dust particles.
Sanitise high-contact areas utilising a hospital-grade disinfectant.
Vacuum the entire floor area utilising a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to guarantee the removal of dust and allergens.
Mop the floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and ensure the bin is wiped clean.
Clean windows and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner and squeegee to achieve a streak-free finish.
Clean the wall and skirting board using a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Inspect all cleaning equipment for signs of wear and tear, then clean and store each item appropriately.
